This issue can occur when a progress note contains invalid characters. These characters are often introduced when text is copied from a third party website or application. Such characters cannot be processed in RIO.
Resolution
If you have access to a tool like Notepad++, you can use it to identify and remove any invalid characters from the note.
Alternatively, please type talk to a person and the Digital Assistant will put you through to a live support agent. Ensure to include the note text that the user is trying to save so our team can assist.
Additional guidance
When copying text from external sources, ensure it is plain text to avoid hidden characters.
Removing formatting before pasting into RIO can help prevent this issue.
