When saving an assessment form in RIO, you may encounter the following error:
GenerateScreen@200: GetMainTableData@100: An invalid character was found in text content.
Solution
If you copied text from another application e.g., word, email, or a web page:
Paste the text into Notepad first.
This will strip out any hidden HTML or unsupported characters.
Then copy the cleaned text from Notepad into RIO.
Save the form again.
Cause
This error occurs because a character copied and pasted into the note text box is not supported by RIO.
The character may be hidden or part of HTML formatting from another source.
Additional information
Unsupported characters often come from formatted documents or web content.
Using Notepad ensures only plain text is entered into RIO.
