If a group appointment has related patients and the primary patient is cancelled, Rio prevents you from outcoming the appointment.
Why this happens
This is a software fault identified in RIO.

The issue is fixed in Rio version 24.02.00.
Resolution
If this issue occurs, type talk to a person and the Digital Assistant will put you through to a live support agent.
