The client will have multiple appointments for the referral where the appointment types are set as First Appointment Type.

To fix this:
Check the appointment type assigned to each appointment.
Make sure only one appointment per referral is set to a type marked as First Appointment Type.
Update the appointment type settings in the master table:
Go to the AmsAppointmentType table.
For the 72 hr Follow Up (SMS) appointment type, ensure it is not marked as a First Appointment Type.
Cause
This usually happens when:
An appointment is assigned a type that isn't marked as a First Appointment Type.
The appointment type 72 hr Follow Up (SMS) is being used, which should not be considered a First Appointment Type.
