Issue
When generating a clinic appointment letter by selecting the Word icon in the Other column, the green Letter Printed icon does not appear in the Clinic Appointment List View.
This happens only when the letter is created via the Word icon, not through standard printing methods.
Cause
This is a known system issue in RIO affecting letters generated using the Word icon.
The letter is created, but it is not correctly linked to the appointment history, so the printed status icon does not update.
Workaround
To ensure the Letter Printed icon appears:
Use the Batch Print Letters button to generate and print the clinic letter.
Letters printed through Batch Print correctly update the appointment list view.
Status
This issue is scheduled to be fixed in a future RIO release.
