Problem
When trying to reverse an invalid Section 17a, the following error may appear:
Type mismatch: 'cdate'
This prevents the reversal from completing.
Cause
This issue can randomly occur after a CTO recall. The error is caused by an invalid data entry within Section 17a that the system cannot interpret correctly.
Resolution
A known data fix can update the invalid Section 17a so that it becomes reversible.
If you encounter this issue:
Open the Digital Assistant.
Select talk to a person.
You will be routed to a live support agent who can apply the required data correction.
