Unable to validate care plan if auto saved goal closed

Guidance on Care plan validation issue when a goal has been auto-saved and then closed.

Issue

If a user creates a new goal in a care plan and allows it to auto-save without entering any information, then closes it, a goal record is created that prevents the care plan from being validated.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open a care plan.

  2. Click the New Goal button.

  3. Do not enter any details, leave RIO idle until it auto-saves the goal.

  4. Close the incomplete auto-saved goal.

  5. Reload the care plan.

Cause

This is a known bug where an incomplete auto-saved goal creates a record that blocks validation.

Resolution

This issue requires a data fix. please type talk to a person and the Digital Assistant will put you through to a live support agent.
