Cause
The Spine response advises that the NHS number for this client is invalid.
This causes the system to trigger the 500‑100 error.
Resolution
If the error message appears in the format shown above, take the following action:
Contact NHS Digital and inform them that:
The client is returning an invalid Spine message.
The message does not include the NHS number.
The returned message states NHS Number Invalid.
NHS Digital will investigate and confirm the correct information on Spine.
