Guidance when attempting to link a user smartcard you encounter an error.

When attempting to link a user to a smartcard, you may see the following error:

There were problems contacting SDS to get the information you requested, please try again later. SDS server is unavailable or does not exist

If you encounter this error:

  1. Wait a few moments and try again.

  2. If the issue persists, raise a new case online and reference the title of this article for faster assistance.
