Understand your Online Help content in Rio

A guide to the different types of content you may see when you open Online Help in Rio.

Written by Connor Baeza

When you open Online Help in Rio, the content you see is tailored to your current screen and your organisation. This article explains what each part of the help window means so you can get the most out of it.

What you will see in the help window

The help window can contain two types of content, displayed in a set order:

  • Global Help, always shown at the top. This is generic guidance that applies to all users of the screen, regardless of team or organisation. It typically covers field descriptions, navigation tips, and common errors.

  • Organisation Help, shown below Global Help, or as the only content where no Global Help exists. This is your Trust's local guidance, including links to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team-specific workflow notes.

📌Note: If your account is not assigned to an organisation, you will only see Global Help. If you believe you are missing Trust specific guidance, contact your System Administrator.

Other elements in the help window

The help window may also contain the following:

  • Hyperlinks, links to SOP documents, external resources, or other help pages. Click a link to open it in a new window.

  • Images, screen diagrams, workflow illustrations, or annotated screenshots to support the written guidance.

📌Note: If you see an Edit Help link at the bottom of the help window, this is for System Administrators only. It opens the Help Text Editor for that screen and is not intended for general users.
