AutoSave function in assessment forms

Guidance on AutoSave function within assessment forms.

Written by Connor Baeza

If a user’s logon session times out due to inactivity, or if the user logs out without saving, unsaved assessments are automatically saved provided the Date/Time of completion has been entered.

How Autosave works

  • Autosaved forms are listed as Autosaved on the assessment’s index screen.

  • When the user next logs on, RIO will alert them via a To Do List item or Notification.

⚠️Important: If you are using Windows XP and have RIO open in the window launched by the Identity Agent, Auto-save will not work when your smart card is removed.

Always use a different browser window for RIO in this scenario.

Autosave applies only to

  • Form Types: 4 and 6

  • Content Validation: Must be enabled for the affected form(s).

If Autosave does not work

Type talk to a person and the Digital Assistant will put you through to a live support agent.
