Local information not synchronised with NCRS

Guidance for resolving the message indicating a person’s local record does not match the National Care Records Service (NCRS).

Issue

When saving updates in the demographic screen, RIO displays the following message:

The local information for this person is not synchronised with the NCRS.

Correct any differences you can and press save, or press next to progress to the next page.

This means the local record and the NCRS record do not match.


Resolution steps

  1. Review the demographic details on the current screen.

  2. Correct any visible differences between the local record and the NCRS record.

  3. Click Save to update the record.

  4. If you cannot correct the information or the message continues to appear:

    • Type talk to a person in the Digital Assistant.

    • You will be connected to a live support agent.
