The system supports the following document types by default, as defined in the System Constant Guide under the DocTypes constant:
Text & Document: .doc, .docx, .pdf, .txt, .rtf
Image: .bmp, .png, .jpg, .gif
Web: .html, .htm
Spreadsheet: .xls, .xlsx
As of the Rio EPR releases, this System Constant has been hidden as part of pen testing remediation work. If you would like a document type adding, please type talk to an agent and the Digital Assistant will put you through to an engineer. Please advise the file extension, and we can make this change for you.
📌Note: It is strongly recommended to test any new file types in a non-production environment before enabling them for live use.
To add a document type:
Navigate to System Constants page.
Select the Document category.
Locate the DocTypes constant.
Add the desired file extension(s) to the list.
If you are unable to see the DocTypes system constant please type talk to a person and the Digital Assistant will put you through to a live support agent.
