Enabling Mobile Application Support restricts the form’s available datatypes to those supported by eObs. Because of this restriction, the setting cannot be changed from the front end once the form has been created.
Datatype limitations
There is only a specific set of datatypes eObs supports. If unsupported datatypes are present, this can lead to display issues on eObs devices.
Backend update option
The support team can make this change as a backend data change if required.
Before requesting this:
Unsupported datatypes may cause display issues.
The support team is unable to troubleshoot issues caused by invalid datatypes.
Changes should be tested thoroughly in a Test environment before proceeding in Live.
How to request the data change
To request a backend change:
Open the Digital Assistant.
Type talk to a person.
You’ll be connected to a live support agent who can complete the update.
