Error message when opening an assessment form:
The Maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded
This issue may occur if the form field format has not been set correctly.
Cause
Fields that require a format setting must display a green tick to confirm configuration.
For example, the Word Processor field does not have the green tick, indicating the format has not been set.
Resolution
Open the Word Processor configuration option from the blue actions menu.
Click Use Format option.
The field will now display the green tick, confirming it is configured.
Additional notes
Forms with a large number of fields may take longer to open, especially if many fields pull data from database tables.
To improve performance and usability:
Keep forms manageable.
Break down large forms into smaller, more focused forms where possible.
