Word placeholder pre-requisites for Office 365

You will need the following to be installed to use Word placeholder.

Version 2.1.0.0 and higher of the Word Placeholder is the Non-SQL Compact Edition dependent version, as such you should not require SSMS to be installed.

The exe wraps the 64-bit version and 32-bit version and installs the relevant version depending on your MS Office installation version. For example if you're on 64-bit Windows but have a 32-bit version of MS Office installed, it will install the 32-bit plugin. It is not a direct parity to the OS architecture (x86, x64).

Word placeholder add-in - This is the latest version v2.1.0.1 which provides support for TLS 1.2 specification and, re-instates the ability to drag and drop placeholders on to the associated MS Word Document across supported versions of MS Office: MS Office 2016, MS Office 2019 and MS Office 365.
